Giving back to NZ

For the last 4 months of 2024, Tings pledged to donate 10% of all online sales to 'not for profit' associations.

In 2025 we:

Supported St Mary’s College, Wellington to kickstart their Young Enterprise Scheme business idea, and continue to collaborate with the team.

Sponsored the Wellington High School Waka AMA team with bags for the Nationals.  

In 2024 we:

  • Supported fund raisers for 23 Early Childhood Centres and schools.
  • Donated wet bag prize packs to a number of school raffles and for sports team fundraising.

In 2023 we:

  • Donated bags to Haputanga Wananga (antenatal class) in Porirua
  • Supported fund raisers for 29 Early Childhood Centres and schools.
  • Donated bags as prizes for the Mountains to Sea Wellington World Oceans Day Charity Pub Quiz raising money for marine education programmes for our tamariki.

In 2022 we:

  • Donated 5 Safe Nights through Women's Refuge
  • Continued to support Gumboot Friday with donations and actively promoting the cause
  • Donated bags to Purapura Whetu, Christchurch to help create personal care packages for their clients with reusable menstrual underwear

  • Donated wet bag prize packs to a number of school raffles and for sports team fundraising
  • Supported fund raisers for 25 Early Childhood Centres and schools.

In 2021 we:

  • Donated swimming bags to a swim school that was offering 'scholarships' for children
  • Continued to support Gumboot Friday with donations and actively promoting the cause
  • Donated a pair of tickets to a local school fundraiser event 
  • Donated wet bag prize packs to a number of raffles for sports team fundraising
  • Supported fund raisers for 31 Early Childhood Centres and schools.

In 2020 we:

  • Donated 160+ medium wet bags to the fantastic team of essential workers at Wellington Hospital ICU
  • Pledged 20% of all online sales in April and May to Gumboot Friday
  • Given away two prize packs to people who made a difference during the Covid19 Alert Level 4 (a Facebook based promotion)
  • Donated spot prizes to Wellington Junior Girls Rugby
  • Supported fund raisers for 27 Early Childhood Centres and schools.
